Mindy is a graduate of the Class of 1995. During her athletic career, she earned eleven varsity letters: three in volleyball, four in basketball and three in track field and one in softball. In volleyball, she earned All-League honors as a sophomore and junior and was named the Mid-State League’s Player of the Year in 1993. She was also All-District her junior year as the team won the league title.

During Mindy’s four years on the basketball team, they won three league championships, going undefeated in league play her senior year, one District Runner-up, two District Championships, and one Regional Runner-up. Mind was All-League three times, MSL Player of the Year, All District three times, and received 1st team All-Ohio twice. She received the Herald Award as Pickaway County’s Player of the Year in 1995. She participated in the Ohio North-South and the Ohio-Kentucky All Star games. She finished her career with 1728 points and 1077 rebounds.

In track and field Mindy excelled in the shot put, discus, and high jump. She earned All-League honors in the shot put three times, discus twice, and high jump once. She was the league’s Most Valuable Field Events Performer three times and placed in the state track meet in both the shot and discus her junior and senior years. At graduation, she held the school record in the shot and discus.

Mindy attended The Ohio State University on a basketball scholarship. She earned four letters, received the Most Improved Scholar Athlete Award and was a team captain her senior year.
