Bill is a graduate of the Class of 1965. He earned two varsity letters in football and two in basketball. During his senior year in basketball, he set 11 school records including season records for most points scored, most field goals made, most free throws attempted, most free throws made and most rebounds. Bill was named All-League, All-County and received the Bob Bowsher Award as Pickaway County’s Most Valuable Player. As a junior, Bill was a member of Teays Valley’s only undefeated regular season team.

After graduation, Bill attended Ohio Northern University and earned two varsity letters in basketball during his four year career.
