Brian is a 1986 graduate and has coached in the district since 1990. As a student, he earned seven varsity letters; three in golf, two in basketball and two in baseball. After graduation, Brian attend Capital University and earned four varsity letters in golf.

In 1990, Brian returned to Teays Valley to begin his coaching career. He has served as our JV boys Basketball Coach since 1990. His teams have won 3 MSL JV titles and he has amassed over 200 wins. Brian was a volunteer assistant in our golf program for a few years before taking over as our head Golf Coach in 1998. Through the 2011 season, his teams have won over 70% of their league matches leading to seven league championships. He has coached 27 first team All-League players, three of which were Player of the Year and has had one state qualifier. He played a major role in adding Middle School and Girls golf to our program offerings at Teays Valley. Brian is currently a member of the state golf coach’s advisory board and serves an official at the state golf tournament.
