Paula was a member of the class of 1988. She has the distinction of earning twelve varsity letters in five different sports; two in cross country, two in volleyball, four in basketball, three in track and field and one in softball. Paula was All-League in cross country her freshman and sophomore years and a Regional qualifier her freshman year. In volleyball, she earned All-League and All-District honors her junior and senior years and played on teams that were District Runner-up twice.

A four year starter in basketball, she was named All-League three times, Mid-State Player of the Year twice, Pickaway County Player of the Year, Central District Player of the Year and 1st Team All-Ohio. She finished her career with 1111 points. During her career, teams won three league championships.

Paula excelled in the 1600 Meter run in track and the high jump earning All-League honors three times in those events and reaching the Regionals in the high jump during her freshman season. During her senior year, she switched to softball and earned All-League and All-District Honors.
