Neal is a 2016 graduate and earned 4 varsity letters in football, 1 varsity letter in basketball, and 4 varsity letters in Track. As a football player Neal was a 2 year captain and had 41 starts. He was 1st team all Mid-State league 2 times, Mid-State League Lineman of the year 2 times, 1st team Pickaway County 3 times and Pickaway County Lineman of the year 2 times. During his Senior season, Neal was named 1st team All-Ohio and named to the Academic All-Ohio team. Neal's 41 career starts for the football team is a Teays Valley record. As a member of the Track team, Neal was 1st team All-Mid-State 2 times in Shot Put and the Pickaway County Shot Put winner 2 times. He was also a Regional Qualifier in Shot and Disc and named the Teays Valley Field Event MVP twice.
After high school, Neal graduated from the University of Findlay where he started all 46 games of his career. During his time at Findlay, Neal was named 1st Team All-GMAC 2 times and was an Academic All-American. Neal graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Strength and Conditioning in 2019 and Earned a Masters in Education in leadership in 2020. Since graduating, Neal served as a Offensive Line Graduate Assistant at Eastern Illinois (2020-21) and is currently serving as the offensive quality control assistant at Wake Forest.
