Cory is a 2016 graduate and earned three varsity letters in soccer, three varsity letters in golf, two varsity letters in football and two varsity letters in basketball. As a soccer player, Cory won two league championships, was a 2nd team all league selection his junior year and 1st team selection his senior season. He participated in the Central District All Star Game and holds the single season saves record. As a golfer, Cory won three league championships and was a three time first team all league selection. His senior season, Cory was named the Pickaway County Golfer of the Year along with being named Honorable Mention All Central District. At the time of graduation, Cory held five school records in golf. As a football player, Cory was a part of two league championships along with two playoff appearances. He was the Mid State League Special Teams POY as a senior and 2nd Team All State. Cory played in the North / South Football Game his senior season in Dayton. At the time of graduation, Cory held three school records. During his high school career, Cory played in three varsity sports during the same season both his junior and senior seasons.

After graduation, Cory attended the University of Mount Union where he won a National Championship in football and was a National Championship Runner-up. During his four years his teams won three conference championships and he was a two time Academic All OAC performer. He holds number kicking and punting records at Mount Union including, most point in a game by a kicker (24), most points in a National Championship Game (10), Longest Field Goal in a National Championship Game. Along with most PAT's made in a regular season game (11).

Cory graduated Mount Union with an Exercise Science degree and is currently a Physicians Assistant in the Cleveland area.
